This Privacy Policy for Waymate (developed by Andrei Ilnitskii) describes how we handle your personal information when you use our mobile application Waymate.

Key Principle: Waymate is a local-first application. While your health data remains strictly on your device, we process minimal subscription information through secure partners to provide Pro features.

1. What Information Do We Collect?

Waymate accesses Apple HealthKit data with your explicit permission. Specifically:

• Step count data — for displaying your daily steps and simple trend charts of your walking activity.

Important: We do not collect any other personal information from you.

2. Apple HealthKit Data Access

How We Use Apple HealthKit

Reading: Waymate reads your step count data from Apple HealthKit to display your daily step statistics and simple trend charts within the application.

Storage: All data read from Apple HealthKit is stored exclusively on your device within Apple HealthKit. We do not transmit, backup, or process this data anywhere else.

3.1 Where Your Data Is Stored:

Regarding your HealthKit data: all Apple HealthKit data remains on your device in Apple HealthKit. Waymate does not have any servers, cloud storage, or backend infrastructure.
