Key Principle: Waymate is a local-only application. We do not collect, transmit, store, or process your personal information on any servers. All data remains on your device.
Waymate accesses Apple HealthKit data with your explicit permission. Specifically:

Reading: Waymate reads your step count data from Apple HealthKit to display your daily step statistics and simple trend charts within the application.
Writing: Waymate may write step count data back to Apple HealthKit to ensure your activity data is synchronized within the Health app ecosystem.
Storage: All data read from and written to Apple HealthKit is stored exclusively on your device within Apple HealthKit. We do not transmit, backup, or process this data anywhere else.
Where Your Data Is Stored: All Apple HealthKit data remains on your device in Apple HealthKit. Waymate does not have any servers, cloud storage, or backend infrastructure.
